Below is the will of Jane Staniforth


This is the last will and testament of me Jane Staniforth, spinster of Sheepshed in the county of Leicester after payment of all my just debts, funeral and effect expenses, I give and bequeath to my neice Mary Beardsmore, for her sole use and benefit and not subject to the control of her husband, should the money all that paid and parcel of a dwelling house, outhouses, land and garden with all the rights and privaledges thereof, situate on the Leicester road in Sheepshed aforesaid, and bequeathed to me by will, by my late mother, Mary Staniforth....

I also give and bequeath to my said niece Mary Beardsmore all my furniture wearing apparel, ready money and all other my property whatsoever and wheresoever of which I may be possessed at the time of my decease for her sole use and benefit, and I hereby revoke all former wills and testaments made by me, I do constitute and appoint my said neice sole executrix of this my last will and testament,

Proved in Leicester the Thirtieth day of March by the oath of Mary Poyser? Wife of Robert Poyser, Boot clicker, formerly Beardsmore, Spinster. Niece of the deceased the sole executrix to whome administration was granted.

The testatrix jane Staniforth was late of Sheepshed in the county of Leicester Spinster and died on the eleventh day of August 1853 at Sheepshed aforesaid.
