The Following is a Conveyance at Hackenthorpe dated November 4th, 1922

Mr Herbert Heaton Staniforth to Mr Samuel Heaton Staniforth

Conveyance of half share in the equity of redemption of six freehold dwellinghouses situate in Brook Lane Hackenthorpe in the Parish of Beighton in the County of Derby

THIS INDENTURE made the fourth day of November One Thousand Nine Hundred and Twenty two (4th Nov 1922) between HERBERT HEATON STANIFORTH of brook lane Hackenthorpe in the Parish of Beighton in the County of Derby Miner of the one part and SAMUEL HEATON STANIFORTH of Brook Lane Hackenthorpe in the parish of Beighton in the County of Derby Miner of the other part WHEREAS the Indenture dated twelfth day of October one Thousand Nine Hundred and Seventeen (12th Oct 1917) and made between THOMAS SIDNEY SMITH and WILLIAM HENRY STANIFORTH of the one part and the said SAMUEL HEATON STANIFORTH and HERBERT HEATON STANIFORTH of the other part the said hereditaments hereinafter described were conveyed unto and to the use of the said SAMUEL HEATON STANIFORTH and HERBERT HEATON STANIFORTH as tenants in common in fee simple AND WHEREAS by an indenture dated the Thirteenth day of October One Thousand Nine Hundred and Seventeen and made between the said SAMUEL HEATON STANIFORTH and HERBERT HEATON STANIFORTH of the one part and HARRY HUTTON of the other part the said hereditaments hereinafter described were conveyed by the said SAMUEL HEATON STANIFORTH and HERBERT HEATON STANIFORTH unto and to the use of the said HARRY HUTTON in fee simple subject to a proviso for the redemption for the said hereditaments on payment by the said SAMUEL HEATON STANIFORTH and HERBERT HEATON STANIFORTH to the said HARRY HUTTON of the sum of Two Hundred and Fifty Pounds (£250) AND WHEREAS the said principal sum of two hundred and fifty pounds remain owing on the security of the said indenture of mortgage but all interest for the same has been paid up to the date of these presents AND WHEREAS the said HERBERT HEATON STANIFORTH has agreed to sell his moiety of the equity of redemption in the said hereditaments to the said SAMUEL HEATON STANIFORTH at the price of One Hundred Pounds (£100) NOW this indenture witnesseth that in consideration of the sum of one hundred pounds to the said HERBERT HEATON STANIFORTH now paid by the said SAMUEL HEATON STANIFORTH (the receipt whereof the said HERBERT HEATON STANIFORTH hereby acknowledges) and in consideration of the covenant hereinafter contained on the part of the said SAMUEL HEATON STANIFORTH the said HERBERT HEATON STANIFORTH as beneficial owner hereby conveys unto the said SAMUEL HEATON STANIFORTH ALL that the one undivided moiety of the said HERBERT HEATON STANIFORTH of and in ALL those six dwellinghouses with the yards and outbuildings therefore belonging situate on the East side of and being No’s 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 and 11 Brook Lane Hackenthorpe in the Parish of beighton in the County of Derby and now in the several occupations of HERBERT HEATON STANIFORHT, GEORGE FARRAR, CHARLES BARKER, SAMUEL HEATON STANIFORTH, THOMAS GYTE and P PEARSON and the site whereof contains two hundred and sixty square yards or thereabouts TOGETHER with the appurtenances TO HOLD unto and to the use of the said SAMUEL HEATON STANIFORTH in fee simple subject to the said Indenture of Mortgage and the sum of two hundred and fifty pounds thereby secured and all interest hereinforth to become due in respect of the same AND the said SAMUEL HEATON STANIFORTH hereby covenants with the said HERBERT HEATON STANIFORTH that the said SAMUEL HEATON STANIFORTH his heirs executors administrators or assigns will pay the said principal sum of two hundred and fifty pounds and the interest henceforth to become due thereon and will keep indemnified the said HERBERT HEATON STANIFORTH and his estate from all claims and demands on account thereof AND it is hereby certified that the transaction hereby effected does not form part of a larger transaction or of a series of transactions in respect of which the amount or the value or the aggregate amount or value of the consideration exceeds five hundred pounds (£500) IN WITNESS whereof the said parties to these presents have hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year first before written
