The Following is a Indenture at Hackenthorpe dated May 10th, 1895

Between Mr Charles Heaton Staniforth and The Rotherham and South Yorkshire Permanent Benefit Building Society and Others

ReConveyance. Liquidation

THIS INDENTURE made the tenth day of June One Thousand Eight Hundred and Ninety Five between THE ROTHERHAM AND SOUTH YORKSHIRE PERMANENT BENEFIT BUILDING SOCIETY in liquidation of the first part and CHARLES HERBERT MOSS of Rotherham in the County of York Chartered Accountant of the Liquidators of the said Society of the second part THE SECOND ROTHERHAM AND SOUTH YORKSHIRE PERMANENT BUILDING SOCIETY of the third part and the within named CHARLES HEATON STANIFORTH of the fourth part WHERAS by order of the County Court of Yorkshire holden at Rotherham sated the first day of January Eighteen Eighty Four (1st Jan 1884) it was ordered that the said Rotherham and South Yorkshire Permanent benefit Building Society be wound up voluntarily but subject to the supervision of the said court AND WHEREAS by order of the said court dated the twenty sixth day of April One Thousand Eight Hundred and Eighty four (26th April 1884) the said CHARLES HERBERT MOSS now appointed the liquidator of the said society AND whereas by an agreement under seal dated twelvth day of December Eight Hundred and Eighty Four (12th Dec 1884) and made between the said CHARLES HERBERT MOSS as such the liquidator on one part and the said Second Rotherham And South Yorkshire Permanent Building Society of the other part it was agreed that all the assets and effects of the said liquidating Society should be sold to the said Second Rotherham And South Yorkshire Permanent Building Society upon the terms therin mentioned subject nevertheless to the approval of the Court in the said winding up AND WHEREAS by order of the said court dated the nineteen day of December one thousand eight hundred and eighty four (19th Dec 1884) the court sanctioned and approved the sale of the property and assets of the said liquidating society upon the terms set forth in the said agreement of the twelfth day of December one thousand eight hundred and eighty four (12th Dec 1884) and whereas no transfer of the within written mortgage to the said purchasing society has been executed but all monies intended to be secured by the within written indenture have been paid by the said CHARLES HEATON STANIFORTH as the parties hereto of the second and third parts respectively do hereby acknowledge NOW THIS INDENTURE WITNESSETH in consideration of the payment and of the promises THE ROTHERHAM AND SOUTH YORKSHIRE PERMANENT BENEFIT BUILDING SOCIETY hereby grant release AS MORTGAGES convey AND the said CHARLES HERBERT MOSS as liquidator of the society hereby releases and confirms and AS TRUSTEE conveys AND THE SECONDS ROTHERHAM AND SOUTH YORKSHIRE PERMANENT BUILDING SOCITY hereby and release and AS MORTGAGES convey unto the said CHARLES HEATON STANIFORTH ALL AND SINGULAR the land messuages tenements and hereditaments conferred in or expressed to be granted by the within written indenture on which now by any means are rested in the first named society under or by virtue of the within written indenture TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the said premises UNTO AND TO THE USE of the said CHARLES HEATON STANIFORTH his heirs and assigns DISCHARGED from all monies secured by the within written indenture and from all claims and demands under the said indenture IN WITNESS and whereof the seals of the said societies respectively are hereto affixed and the said CHARLES HERBERT MOSS hath hereto set his hand and seal the day and year first before written This seal of the Rotherham and South Yorkshire permanent Benefit Building Society were hereto assured by the said CHARLES HERBERT MOSS the liquidator of the said society in the presence of
